Historia de la isla:(Island history)

Esta maravillosa isla, para la cultura occidental, fue descubierta en 1722 por Jacob Roggerberg quien la describió como una tierra muy grande con mujeres hermosas y hombres amables.

Su descubrimiento se fijó especialmente en sus moais que son la representación de sus dioses.Hay mas de 400 moais y 270 ahu o altares.

Los primeros habitantes llegaron en el siglo VI d.C. a cargo del Ariki Hotu Matu'a y su hermana la Ariki Viava Rei Pua.

Esta isla surgió de tres volcanes que forman sus vértices: Poike (el mas antiguo) , Rano Kau y Mnga Tevaka (mas nuevo).

Es  la isla habitada más remota del mundo.

This wonderful island fro the western culture, was discovered in 1722 by Jacob Roggerberg who described it as a land of big men with beautiful women and nice men.
Its discovery  was focus mainly in the moais which represent their gods. There are over 400 moais and 270  ahus.
The first inhabitants arrived in the sixth century AD, they were in charge of  Ariki Hotu Matu'a and his sister Viava Ariki Rei Pua.
This island emerged from three volcanoes that form the vertices: Poike (the oldest), Rano Kau and Mnga Tevaka ( the eldest).
It is the most remote inhabited island in the world.
